MOU SIGNING CEREMONY: JOINING HANDS TO IMPLEMENT A PROSTATE CANCER SCREENING PROGRAM FOR COMMUNITY HEALTH

There are stories that make us rethink how we perceive our health. A man in his 50s, still working every day, still the pillar of his family, still believing that everything was “fine” — until a medical checkup revealed a late-stage diagnosis. What troubled him most was a simple sentence: “If only I had gone for a checkup earlier…”

This is not a rare case. And it is from such reflections that OneHealth Foundation (OHF) was established, with the aspiration to spread a seemingly simple idea that can change an entire life: early detection.

In that spirit, OneHealth Foundation is pleased to announce the signing of a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Project Vietnam Foundation (PVF) — a non-profit organization with over 25 years of experience in community healthcare in Vietnam. This partnership is not merely a formal agreement, but a meeting point of shared values: placing people and community health at the center.

Through this MOU, both parties will jointly implement the program:
“Prostate Cancer Screening – Early Detection, Healthier Lives”

In its initial phase, the program is expected to provide 1,000 free screening opportunities for men aged 45 and above (priority given to those aged 50+ or with risk factors), including specialist consultations, PSA testing, and direct medical advice from doctors.

For us, however, the value of this program is not defined by numbers. It is about giving a father the chance to continue walking alongside his children, a husband the opportunity to stay longer with his family, and enabling more men to take proactive control of their health — before it becomes too late.

The partnership with Project Vietnam Foundation brings not only resources, but also experience, dedication, and perseverance in advancing preventive healthcare awareness in Vietnam. This will serve as a strong foundation for implementing the program effectively, practically, and with lasting impact.
